Purposes shall be to promote the interest of the purebred dogs by:
Encourage, promoting and aiding in the breeding, showing, owning of purebred dogs and doing all possible to bring their natural abilities and qualities to perfection.
Encouraging sportsmanlike or participation at dogs shows, sanction matches and exhibitions, and educating members as well ad the general public in the advantages and disadvantages of breeds.
Conducting sanction matches, licensed shows and trials,exhibitions and boosters under the rules of the Canadian Kennel Club.
Conducting educational programs.
Encouraging membership and support from breeders, exhibitors and fanciers relating to this constitution, the By-laws and the code of ethics of the Kelowna & District Kennel Club.
